Lawn Fawn Part 3

28 Mar

I got another great deal on Lawn Fawn stamps and dies on Amazon.  The stamp sets were all less than $7.00, and the new dies were less than $8.00.  I also picked up an older die I have been wanting for less than $6.00.  Love this, because it means I can get even more Lawn Fawn!
Anyway, here is what I picked up:

I have already stamped a bunch of the images, and spent a night cutting them all out, so look for more Lawn Fawn cards coming soon!  🙂

Card Monday

27 Mar

Yes, you guessed it-another Lawn Fawn card for Card Monday.  You’re shocked.  I can tell.  🙂
IMG_3401.JPG
Supplies: Stamps and Dies: Lawn Fawn; Ink: Memento; Other: Card Stock, Inktense Colored Pencils, Water Brush, Foam Tape, MISTI
For this card, I used my MISTI to stamp the background, and just kept shifting the images and stamping until I had a full panel.
To color the images, I tried something new to me. I scribbled on colored pencil, and then smoothed out the color using a water brush.  For the background wash, I scribbled pencil on scratch paper, and picked it up with the water brush.
Of course, if I had decided I was going to try this technique BEFORE I started, I would have used watercolor paper and a water-proof ink!  The images did blur a bit, but I still really like the end result.
I will definitely be using more colored pencil with my water brush in the future-very cool effect.
I am entering this card into Lawn Fawn’s birthday challenge:
Lawn Fawnatics Challenge Badge
And also into the Simon Says Stamp Use More Than One Punch Or Die challenge:

Lawn Fawn Goodies Part 2

21 Mar

I found an amazing deal on Lawn Fawn stamps and dies on Amazon, and I MAY have placed another order.  🙂
Here’s what I picked up:
Lawn Fawn - Clear Acrylic Stamps - Sewn with Love     Lawn Fawn - Lawn Cuts - Dies - Sewn with Love     Lawn Fawn - Clear Acrylic Stamps - Bannertastic
Can you believe the stamp sets were $7.50 and the die set was $11.00?  SUCH a great deal, and more for me to play with!  🙂
I didn’t think I wanted the Sewn With Love set originally, but I saw SO many cute examples with that and then the banner set, that they were the next ones to pop into my cart.  So glad I did too, because the prices are quite a bit higher now and I really do love that sewing set!
Watch for a new Lawn Fawn card using these goodies on Monday.
That’s all for now!
