BlueMoon Sketch Challenge

23 Jan

Here is a layout I did for a Melissa Mann sketch challenge at bluemoonscrapbooking.com.  I am trying to make it a point to scrap more of my “event” photos.  I absolutely LOVE this photo from last Halloween, and so I gave it a go!  Here is the sketch:

And, here is my take:

Halloween Treat

Supplies: Everything is Bo Bunny except for the Treat Card which is Jenni Bowlin, and I used Stickles on the spider webs for a little extra sparkle.  I had so much journaling that I just took a snippet and wrote it on a spider web string.  The rest ended up on the back.  This also fulfills 1/13 challenge (no cardstock) for awalkdownmemorylane.com.  Enjoy!

Paper Variety Challenge Week 17

22 Jan

This week’s challenge was to use this sketch:

Here is my take:

So Sweet At Three

I love this layout!  Reminds me of a chocolate box full of goodies!
Supplies: Patterned Paper: Bo Bunny, Sassafrass Lass; Letter Stickers: American Crafts; Rubon: Pink Paislee; Embellishments: Evalicious (button flowers), Maya Road (pink fan flowers); Stickers: Sassafrass Lass;  Paint: Jenni Bowlin
There is still time to play along at thepapervariety.blogspot.com if you want to join in the fun!  This layout also fulfills challenges 1/8 (scrap favorite person), and 1/13 (no cardstock) at awalkdownmemorylane.net.  A girl’s got to multitask, you know?  🙂

SNR February Pick Ups

21 Jan

Emails are starting to go out, and I have a card and a paper box being published!

Paper Variety Challenge

18 Jan

Playing along with the Paper Variety’s challenge at thepapervariety.blogspot.com to use pink, black and/or white.  Now that The Princess is on a reading program, I thought I would make her a bookmark!  The pink background was actually part of the packaging for some Heidi Swapp/Tattered Angels crepe paper.  I used Stickles and traced all of the swirls.  I also stamped an American Crafts Dear Lizzy banner at the top with embossing ink and filled it in with more Stickles.  All of the black rubons are Pink Paislee and the fibers are Basic Grey.

Happy Birthday Bro!

16 Jan

Today my brother turns 33!  Happy Birthday!  Here is the card I sent him.  He is always teasing me about being older (a whole 18 months to be exact), so I decided to play on that.  The inside says: “It could be worse.  You could be as old as me.”  🙂  Made this from my scraps.  All papers and journaling card are Pink Paislee, and letter stickers are Doodlebug.
