Oh my goodness! I got some new goodies from My Favorite Things this past Friday, and immediately set to playing with them!
The first thing I really wanted to use was this Baby Shark die set:

I also used this Ray of Light stencil:
This Under the Sea die set:
And the Sharky Sentiments as well:
There are so many gorgeous samples using these products, and I was very excited to try them out for myself!
I made two shark cards. I learned a lot from the first one (how to get a smoother blend through the stencil, how to add the shark teeth), and the second one turned out much better. I still like them both though!
Card #1:
Supplies: Dies: MFT, Lawn Fawn (stitched border); Stamp: MFT; Stencil: MFT; Distress Inks: Speckled Egg, Peacock Feathers, Chipped Sapphire, Black Soot; Card Stock: American Crafts, MFT (red); Other: Bristol Smooth Koh-I-Noor
Card #2:
Supplies: Dies: MFT, Lawn Fawn (stitched border); Stamp: MFT; Stencil: MFT; Distress Inks: Speckled Egg, Peacock Feathers, Chipped Sapphire, Black Soot, Antique Linen, Gathered Twigs; Card Stock: American Crafts, MFT (red); Other: Bristol Smooth Koh-I-Noor
For my color scheme, I scoured Pinterest and found this combination by Rachel Alvarado:

I switched out the Tumbled Glass for Speckled Egg-my very favorite Distress color.
For the sand and rock on the second card, I started with this combination also by Rachel Alvarado:

I switched out the Frayed Burlap for Gathered Twigs, and added some Black Soot splatters as well.
I am SO happy with the second card, I am not even sure I can give it away! 🙂
I will definitely be making more shark cards in the future!! So fun and easy.
I was also pretty happy with my ink blends. I had only done a couple ever, so to have these turn out so great was awesome.
Anyway, I am entering this second card into the following challenges:

Hope you enjoyed looking at these cards. I sure had a blast making them!
