Three Fun Finds

29 Dec

Just wanted to share a few things that are making me happy right now!

First, some good reminders for me as a parent.

Second, I found these amazing (and free) “to do” lists on Pinterest.  LOVE them.  She has a few different versions, so feel free to check out the link on her site.  I have been using one each day-they really work for me!!!!

Third, I discovered this amazing little gadget a while back, and finally purchased one last week.  It is called a Fitbit.  I LOVE it!  If you are a very goal-oriented person (like me) this gadget is amazing.  It tracks how many steps you take, how many floors you climb, the calories you eat and burn, even your sleep patterns!  I also love that it is so much more accurate than the pedometer I had before.  It does SO much more than what I am saying-I am truly in love.  🙂  I just actually joined one of their online groups where we are climbing virtual mountains.  They figured out how many feet up so many different mountains are, and you just keep track of how many floors of stairs you climb, and you “climb” those mountains.  Pretty fun!

Anyway, just thought I would share some little tidbits today.  I have some fun projects in the works, but nothing ready to share yet-hopefully by the weekend.  🙂

Have a great day!

New Classes And Adventures!

28 Dec

I am taking on some new classes and scrappy adventures!

First, I have decided to take on Project Life.

I have a Clementine binder, some page protectors, and plan on using up some of my existing paper stash for the rest.  I will be taking a less hectic approach to Project Life, and just doing pages as I want-not necessarily every week.  I just finished my first two pages (why wait until the new year?), and I will post those soon!

Next, I am signed up for two new classes at Big Picture Classes (they both start tomorrow):

So, I am looking forward to some new projects, and sharing some of them here.  I am excited-should be a lot of fun!!!!  🙂

Merry Christmas!

25 Dec

Saved this card for last as it is extremely appropriate to post on this day!

This card was the only one I made multiples of because I liked it so much.  I ended up with ten of them.  It was made just with cardstock and my Silhouette-and it turned out great!

Remember-He is the reason!

Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas Eve!

24 Dec

Merry Christmas Eve!!!

This was actually the last Christmas card I made this year, so I was trying to use up a lot of my leftover Echo Park Season’s Greetings stickers.  If you look close, you will see that I actually managed to use ten stickers!  🙂

Supplies: Paper and Stickers: Echo Park Season’s Greetings; Ink: Vintage Photo Tim Holtz Distress Ink

I pretty much covered the entire paper and stickers with Vintage Photo ink to make it more of an old, vintage-looking card.

Sorry again for a bad picture, but this was another one where I took a picture, and sent it off in a hurry! 🙂
