Doodlebug Fairy Tale Part 6

Today, I am continuing my series using products from the Doodlebug Fairy Tale line.
Yesterday, I promised to show you one way that I used up a ton of the rainbow washi tape.
I know how much The Girlio loves rainbows, so I decided to jazz up her bulletin board by applying washi all around the outside edge.  It really made a big difference, and looks cute.
I am determined to use up my Fairy Tale supplies, and this went a long way towards putting a dent in the tape roll!

Doodlebug Fairy Tale Part 5

Today is the fifth installment in my little series of cards I made using limited supplies from the Doodlebug Fairy Tale line.  And, as you might have seen in yesterday’s post, I had finished up using the patterned paper completely.  Time to get creative!  🙂
Card #12

For this card, I decided to focus on using up more of the sticker sheet.  I used Lawn Fawn Watercolor Wishes paper in green and purple for the background.  First, I diecut the green piece using a Hillside Border die from Lawn Fawn.  Then I diecut both the purple and the green pieces using the largest Wonky Stitched rectangle die from MFT.  I punched a cloud with my Fiskars punch, and then added the star and rainbow stickers to the background.  Because the castle was going to be partially on the green, and partially on the purple, I did adhere that sticker to white cardstock and cut it out so that it didn’t end up looking funny.  I also used stamps from Lawn Fawn’s Happy Happy stamp set for the sentiment.
I really love how this card turned out, and think it might end up being a certain Girlio’s birthday card!  🙂

Doodlebug Fairy Tale Part 4

Last week, I shared nine cards I made using one sheet of paper, one sticker sheet, and one roll of washi tape from the Doodlebug Fairy Tale collection.  Here are two more cards I made using that collection:
Card #10

For this card, I lightly sponged Simon Says Sea Glass ink through a Crafter’s Workshop stencil onto the background.  Then, I mounted a panel of the patterned paper, and added some Doodlebug twine at the top.  I also rounded one corner with a punch.
Card #11

For this card, I used the very last of the patterned paper sheet.  I used up the entire thing which is so fun!  Anyway, I mounted it onto some black cardstock, adhered it to my card base, and added some sequins and stitching lines with a white Signo gel pen.  I also rounded two corners with a punch.  The pink background was actually from a scrap of paper I had used when cleaning off my brayer while making prints on my gelli plate.  I loved the artsy look so much, I used it for the background on this card.

Pinterest Thursday-Paper Popsicles

Yay!  School is officially out for everyone this week!  We finished up homeschooling a few weeks ago, but The Boy just wrapped up public school on Tuesday.  SO, that means lots more time for crafty projects!  🙂
In my homeschool evaluation of how things went this year, I really felt like we didn’t get to near as much art as I would have liked, so I am really challenging myself to fill this summer with crafts and art projects.  And, I am going to use this blog to keep myself accountable!
So, here is the first crafty project we did-from Pinterest, of course!
