Doodlebug Fairy Tale Part 9

12 Jun

Today’s cards are two more in my series using minimal supplies from the Doodlebug Fairy Tale collection.  AND, they use up the last of the sticker sheet-down to just some washi tape left in my little challenge!
These cards were inspired by a sketch from Freshly Made Sketches:

Here are my cards:
I used stamps from Lawn Fawn’s Happy, Happy, Happy, and colored in the Happy with my Spectrum Noir markers.  Love the results!

When my kiddos get to second grade, I love introducing them to perlers.  They are SO great for learning coordination, following directions, creativity, etc.
Well, The Boy is now a second grader (how time flies) and so we started perlers!
First, I like to just let them play and add perlers to a board to get the feel of how to pick them up and make patterns.  After that, we can get into actually using patterns.
Here are his finished projects:

He LOVED playing with perlers, and he came up with some fun projects too!  Love having another perler-playing kiddo in the house.  Now, I just have to buy some more perlers!  🙂
