Fall Layouts

8 Nov

I haven’t made any fall layouts yet this year.  So to get your creative juices flowing, I thought I would feature some of my older fall projects today.  Happy Fall!

Almost Two

This layout was made with a kit from the now defunct Create My Keepsake.  October Afternoon paper and rubons and American Crafts and Making Memories letters.  I love this picture (such cute chubby cheeks!) and I really played around with the color in iphoto-gave it kind of a unique antique wash.

Happy 4th Anniversary

Pink Paislee papers, letters, and chipboard.

And finally, for all you Husker fans out there-enjoy!

More Christmas Cards

5 Nov

Christmas cards are hard for me.  I want to come up with a design, and I want to keep it simple and easy to re-create.  I also like to be able to make them each a little different so that they are unique.  I think about it all of November, but usually procrastinate until the beginning of December.  I have been eyeing the Basic Grey Jovial line for this year-so pretty!  BUT, I decided to actually use what I have in my stash.  Gasp, horror!  🙂  I found some beautiful Basic Grey papers from years past and got started.  I used Basic Grey Jovial and Lime Rickey.  They go GREAT together and what’s not to like about a paper called Cherry Cola?  I also used BG paper lace, a stamp, glitter glue, and I did throw in my new border punch.  Thanks Stephanie Howell for the enabling on the punch!  🙂

Christmas Cards Already!

5 Nov

I know, I know-Christmas cards!  Can’t believe I have any made!  If you see one you like, just wait-it may be coming to a mailbox near you.  🙂

Love, Joy, Hope

I found these K & Company embellishments in my stash, and decided to make a card.  The gold vellum is actually from an envelope I cut up.

Fruitcake

I have had this stamp for quite a while-absolutely LOVE the saying-and thought it was about time to use it.  Paper is Scenic Route and Jenni Bowlin (embossed cardstock), jewels are Basic Grey, and I used two punches-a lace border and a scallop.

You’ve Been On My Mind Card

5 Nov

A new card today.  I used two diecuts from the Crate Paper Restoration line.  The middle one I sprayed with green Glimmer Mist, and then I inked both diecuts with brown ink.  The buttons are Rusty Pickle (my favorite) and I used craft cardstock for the base. The sentiment is a stamp from Papertrey.
