So, I previously posted the one card I made for National Card Making Day. I entered it into one challenge, and out of over 600 entries, I was one of the eleven winners! So, with a $50 gift card burning a hole in my pocket, I went online shopping! Here are the things I ended up getting:
My Favorite Things:
Mama Elephant:
Wplus9:
And an ink refill, Nuvo Drops, and washi tape:
I have already been playing with the Merry Christmas stamp, as well as the snowmen stamps, and am having SO much fun!!! I am sure you will be seeing more of these products as I post my Christmas cards, so look out for those! 🙂

31 OctCard Monday-A Birthday Card
30 OctToday I thought I would share the card I made for my mom’s birthday:
Supplies: Patterned Paper: Jen Hadfield, Pebbles; Dies: Lawn Fawn (stitched rectangle), Sizzix (circle); Other: Twine
I had the cutest owl card from a cut apart sheet of Pebbles paper that I wanted to use on this card, but I also wanted to use this beautiful patterned paper as it reminded me of my mom.
To use them both, I hand cut the owl and the sentiment from the card and attached the owl to a die cut circle which I adhered to the panel with strips of paper underneath for added dimension.
I hand cut a banner for part of the sentiment, and the other part of the sentiment (it’s your birthday) was adhered to the inside of the card. I attached the banner to the panel with more strips of adhered paper, added some twine, and there was the card.
Hope you enjoyed this one! 🙂
Kid Crafts Friday-A Birthday Card
27 OctI wanted to pop on today and share the card The Girlio made for my mom’s birthday:
Turned out cute! 🙂
Super Hero Girl Birthday Decorations
24 OctFor The Girlio’s birthday this year, she picked a super hero girl theme with the colors blue, yellow, and pink. SO, I broke out the Silhouette again, and came up with these wall decorations (I didn’t get pictures of all of them as The Girlio absconded with a few!):
And I couldn’t waste the negative space, so I backed them with coordinating paper, and used them too:
And then there were the cake toppers:
And one for my mom (we had a combined birthday party):
They turned out really fun! So glad I have a Silhouette for projects like these!
