I found this recipe for homemade lemonade concentrate, and I had to give it a try!

I used this Santa Cruz organic lemon juice (I found mine at Sprouts):
The results? Absolutely delicious!
If you are familiar with Chik-fil-A lemonade, it tasted pretty similar (except without the pulp.)
It is tangy, and just perfect. I really love it!
The kids add a little water to theirs, but this was definitely a hit with everybody.
None of it made it into the freezer as concentrate, but I would like to try making popsicles with some of the leftover concentrate I still have in the fridge.
It is easy to make, and I just store it in my refrigerator until I am ready to make lemonade with it.
I will say, it is not a cheap recipe. The lemon juice is pretty expensive. But, if you are looking for a healthier alternative (like us), or you want to make it as a special treat, this is one tasty recipe, and I encourage you to give it a try.
