We recently received a one-year online membership (with unlimited downloads) to Super Teacher Worksheets. This website contains over 16,000 printable math, reading, writing, phonics, science, and social studies resources geared towards K-6th graders. There are also lots of games, and even generators that allow you to create your own word searches, crossword puzzles and more.
The first thing that caught my eye on the site was the math section. There are lots of color-by-math problem worksheets in several different themes. I printed a bunch of multiplication and division ones for my soon-to-be fifth grader to use as review practice.
I printed some fun mystery code worksheets, and tic-tac-toe math problem worksheets for him as well.
Not to be left out, my soon-to-be second grader wanted to do some. Here are a few that he completed:
I then expanded my search into the database, and found a word search and hidden picture worksheets for the boys too.
In the Chapter Book section, I was thrilled to find some worksheets to go along with the book Charlotte’s Web. I always read this book to my kids when they reach second grade, so I have printed these pages to go along with the book for when we start the school year.
There are worksheets for several other books too including the Boxcar Children, Magic Treehouse, and more.
I had fun playing with the worksheet generators too. I made word searches tailored directly to my kiddos’ interests including video games, rainbows and unicorns, and Star Wars. 🙂
We had a lot of fun with the worksheets we completed, and there are thousands more to explore, and/or create! We have barely tapped the surface, and Super Teacher Worksheets is coming out with new resources all the time. In fact, on their website it says they have added 822 new worksheets in just the past year alone! That’s a lot.
Super Teacher Worksheets basically eliminates the need to buy any practice workbooks you may think you need. It also makes generating your own personalized worksheets so much simpler, and more professional-looking. Everything is right there, and you can print pages as many times as you want or need.
I have my eye on a few things I want to try next. The cryptogram generator looks like a lot of fun. I also want to try the word scrambler generator. It is hard to make your own worksheets with scrambled words and get everything lined up and this would eliminate that problem altogether.
Members can also save generated worksheets to their accounts, which is nice.
There are worksheets for specific holidays, brainteasers, teacher helps, and you can even create your own custom calendar pages. There is definitely a lot to explore!
