Today I am sharing my project for the CutCardStock.com IG Influencer Team.

Today I am taking a break from penguin cards (don’t worry, there are more coming soon!)
It’s almost Valentine’s Day, so I thought I would break out some Mickey and Minnie die cuts and make a card.
I recently received a product from CutCardStock.com that I have been wanting to try for quite a while.
Glitter tape.
I got the silver, white, and red.
This stuff is so fun!
I started by covering a panel with the red and white tapes.
I die cut a heart out of one of the panels, backed it with glitter card stock, and added Mickey and Minnie.
I die cut the little hearts out of glitter tape as well.
The photo does not due this card justice with how sparkly this turned out, so pop over to my Instagram feed if you want to see a short video of all of glittery goodness!
Here is my card:
Supplies: Stamp: Elizabeth Craft Designs; Dies: Spellbinders (small hearts, Mickey and Minnie), Elle’s Studio (large stitched heart); Poppy Studio (bow, present)
I used the following from CutCardStock.com: Glitter Tape, Pop Tone Black Licorice, DCS Red Pepper, DCS Putty, DCS Yellow Jacket, DCS Black Glitter, Cougar White 130 lb. (for my base), and Tombow Mono Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue.
I ended up cutting three panels from glitter tape, plus I have the heart I cut from this panel, so I will definitely be making more cards!
One tip with the tape-if you create panels, you can cut the excess from the edges of the panel and save those scraps by re-applying them to the backer the tape comes on.
Then it’s easy to die cut smaller pieces (like the small hearts in my project above) from your leftovers and not waste them.
You can also apply your scraps to a piece of card stock and create a new project.
Here is a bookmark I made using some of my scraps:
Well, that’s it for today.
Have a great one!
