Card Monday-Christmas Card Day 4!

24 Nov

Today I am sharing my projects for the CutCardStock.com IG Influencer Team.

You can follow me on Instagram here.

It’s day four of my 2025 Christmas card series.

Today’s cards feature the Rocky the Dancin’ Yeti from Spellbinders.

He’s the only thing I bought special for this year’s cards.

I absolutely loved using the Spellbinders Dancin’ Snowman for a lot of last year’s cards, so I knew I wanted another from the dancin’ series to use this year.

For my first card, I went through my stash of partially made cards from last year. I found one where the background was already completely made.

I only added a yeti and a sentiment.

Here is my card:

For my second card, I used a journaling card as a background for my yeti.

I added a few layers of card stock, and another card was complete.

Here is that card:

Supplies: Journaling Card: Elle’s Studio; Dies: Spellbinders (yeti, stars), Lawn Fawn (stitched hillsides, stitched rectangle), Scrapbook.com (snowflake); Sentiment Stamp and Die: Waffle Flower; Stamp: Savvy Stamps

I used the following from CutCardStock.com:  Lessebo Cherry, Lessebo Arctic Blue, Lessebo Navy Blue, Lessebo Misty Blue, Pop Tone Black LicoriceDCS Patriot Blue, Stardream Metallic Silver, Cougar White 100 lb., Cougar White 130 lb. (for my bases), and Tombow Mono Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue.

I have several more yetis created which will make future cardmaking pretty easy, so expect to see more of those in future card posts!

That’s it for today.

Have a great one!

Book Review-Chloe Foster’s Holiday Rewrite

23 Nov

Chloe Foster’s Holiday Rewrite is a romantic novella written by Britney M. Mills. This is book nine in the Letters to Mrs. Claus series, but all of the books do standalone and are written by different authors.

Summary: Chloe Foster left behind her small town for the big city and a big career.

But when a promise to her family brings her back home for the holidays, Chloe begins to wonder if she made the right decision all those years ago.

Maybe everything she ever wanted was right in front of her the whole time.

Is it too late to rewrite her own story?

My Thoughts: I liked this book. It is a nice, easy read with like-able characters and a good romance.

It’s also got a good message about family, friends, and figuring out what is really important in life.

I enjoyed reading it, and would recommend it.

I would like to thank Britney for including me on her ARC team in exchange for receiving a free digital copy of this book. Thank you!

Book Review-Matched with My Christmas Crush

22 Nov

Matched with My Christmas Crush is a romantic novella written by Francesca Spencer. This is book eleven in the Letters to Mrs. Claus series, but all of the books do standalone and are written by different authors.

Summary: Flo has had a crush on single dad James Hadley since they first met.

The only problem? She’s his son’s teacher.

Now they’re working together to put on the town’s Christmas extravaganza.

Can she keep things professional, or is there room for love?

My Thoughts: I liked this book.

The plot was well-developed, and the characters were likeable (especially James’ precocious son Alfie.)

I also appreciated that even though it was a novella, the romance was spread out over time instead of happening extremely quickly.

This is a cute and romantic story-perfect for the holiday season.

I would like to thank Francesca for including me on her ARC team in exchange for receiving a free digital copy of this book. Thank you!

Layout-Silly Boy

18 Nov

I don’t make a ton of layouts, but every year around National Scrapbooking Day I make a point to create a few layouts.

I love the challenges A Cherry on Top has for National Scrapbooking Day, and it’s fun to challenge myself to participate in as many as possible.

This year I created nine layouts, which is definitely a record for me!

This is not one I made for any particular challenge, but I did make it in May.

Normally, I share these layouts over the summer, but time has definitely gotten away from me.

Better late than never, though!

Here is another one I made:

Supplies: Patterned Paper and Stickers: Echo Park; Puffy Stickers: Elle’s Studio

I love this picture. So funny. 🙂

That’s it from me today, but I will be posting more layouts in the future.

Have a great one!
