Card Monday-Figgy Pudding

26 May

Today I am sharing a project for the CutCardStock.com IG Influencer Team.

You can follow me on Instagram here.

Last week I took a Christmas die and used it for a birthday card, and I just realized I did it again with this card. 🙂

For this project, I die cut the figgy pudding from pink card stock. I think it looks a whole lot like a gum drop!

I die cut the “frosting” and two of the balloons from Stardream Metallic. It is very shimmery in person-the pictures don’t do it justice!

The other two balloons I cut from vellum. To disguise the balloon strings a little more, I layered two die cut vellum balloons on top of each other.

I also added vellum on top of my white card stock base. I love the little bit of frostiness this vellum adds-even when I just use it for an extra layer.

I didn’t have presents in the size I wanted, so I fussy-cut some from patterned paper, which worked out perfectly.

Here is my card:

Supplies: Patterned Paper: Echo Park (presents); Stamp: Lawn Fawn (Wavy Sayings), Dies: Lawn Fawn (Box Card Ocean Add-On, Stitched Rectangles, High Five), Spellbinders (Figgy Pudding); Embossing Folder: Pink & Main

I used the following card stock from CutCardStock.com: Lessebo Blossom Pink, Lessebo Bubble Gum Pink, Pop Tone Black Licorice, Pop Tone Grapesicle, Pop Tone Grape Jelly, Stardream Metallic Sparkly Bright White Pluto, CTI Glama Natural Translucent 48 lb., and 110 lb. Classic Crest Bright White.

I really like how this card turned out, and I might even try to make this design with some different color schemes in the future.

Well, that’s my project for today.

Have a great one!
