ProCraftinator’s Club Hop February 2025

10 Feb

Today I am sharing my cards for the ProCRAFTinator’s blog hop on Instagram.

You can follow me on Instagram here.

The ProCRAFTinator’s Club hop is for those of us who hold Ph.D’s in procrastinating! This monthly card hop is hosted by @createwithkas and @touchofmagik and we’re (finally) creating with any kit, class, camp and more that we signed up for.

We’ve dusted off those monthly subscription kits, online classes, and camp boxes that we didn’t finish! On the 2nd Monday of each month, we’ll share our creations, and you can follow along with us at #theprocraftinatorsclub!

I definitely have enough credits (a.k.a. kits) for a Ph.D. and decided to join in the fun this year! 🙂

For today’s project, I delved into my leftovers from the Studio Calico Homespun Project Life kit from March of 2016:

There was a teal journaling card that had the words “Be Awesome Today” printed in silver foil in the kit. I also found an overlay with the word “Yeah!” in pink letters.

Two of my kids play soccer, so I thought these journaling cards would be perfect for making soccer cards.

I stamped sentiments in black on the teal card, as well as stamping some soccer balls in teal.

I then matted the journaling card on black and silver.

For the pink card, I found a pink journaling card in the kit, stamped my sentiment, and then adhered the Yeah! overlay on top and matted it all on black card stock.

Here are my cards:

Supplies: Journaling Cards and Overlay: Studio Calico; Stamps: Lawn Fawn; Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, Hero Arts Mint Julep

I used the following card stock colors from CutCardStock.com: Lessebo Pitch Black and Stardream Metallic Silver.

That’s it for today-have a great one, and feel free to come join us on the hop!

Card Monday-Cheerful Card Trio

10 Feb

Today I am sharing three cards I made for the CutCardStock.com IG Influencer Team.

You can follow me on Instagram here.

A friend is having major surgery this week, and I wanted to have some bright and cheerful cards to take to her house when I bring over meals.

I found some really old stickers in my stash that fit the bill. Side note-these stickers are from Penny Black in 2013! You can actually still buy them from their website (looks like PB brought them back last year.)

I paired the stickers with coordinating card stock and made three cards.

Here are my cards:

Supplies: Stamps: Stampin’ Up!; Stickers: Penny Black; Die: Unknown

I used the following card stock colors from CutCardStock.com: DCS Amaranth Pink, Basis Blue, Lessebo Sunset Orange, and Lessebo Splash Blue.

That’s my project for today.

Have a great one!
