The Paper Funday Challenge #68

Hello everyone!

I am excited to be sharing my August 2024 project for The Paper Funday Challenges Design Team!

Our August challenge is as always Anything Goes, and our twist theme for this month is: Summer Holiday/Vacation.

We are sponsored this month by Newton’s Nook Designs and Altenew.

I found I had one Altenew stamp set in my stash, so I decided to put it to good use!

Here is my card:

Supplies: Stamps: Altenew (florals, sentiment), Ali Edwards for Technique Tuesday (Irish proverb in background); Die: Lawn Fawn; Distress Inks: Broken China, Faded Jeans, Tumbled Glass, Peeled Paint; Other: Sequins

I used the following card stock from CutCardStock.com: DCS Aqua, Lessebo Navy Blue

To make this card, I die cut a panel, and then stamped an Irish proverb all over the background-staggering the words as I went.

I used layering stamps to create my florals, fussy-cut them, and adhered them to my panel.

I layered my panel on card stock, and added my sentiment and a few sequins.

This is a very different card for me, but I like how it turned out!
