Card Monday

I haven’t spent much time making cards this summer. I have been BUSY!

But, I had a friend give me a big stack of amazing biographies, and I wanted to make her a thank you card.

I decided to make a “what if safari animals visited the jungle on vacation” card. 🙂

Here is how it turned out:

Supplies: Stamps: Avery Elle; Dies: Leaves (Hello Bluebird), Car and Ground (My Favorite Things), Stitched Border (Lawn Fawn); Inks: Tim Holtz Distress; Markers: Spectrum Noir; Misc.: Card Stock, Vellum

It took me a while to make, but it turned out pretty close to the way I envisioned. I did realize afterwards it would have made more sense to have the background green because they are in a jungle, but I am probably the only one who cares.

We’ll just say they are at the EDGE of the jungle. 🙂
