Card Monday-70th Birthday Card

16 May

I decided to try a bunch of new things on my mother-in-law’s 70th birthday card.  First, I broke out my new Gansai Tambi watercolors and painted a quick gradient background.  Next, I cut a 70 with my Silhouette.  And finally, I created my very first shaker card!  Yes, that’s a lot of new things on one card, but it sure was fun!  🙂  The only bad part was that I couldn’t find my foam tape.  I ended up using some sticky-backed foam sheets, so it was a little lumpy, but still not bad for my first try!
The letter stickers are American Crafts Dear Lizzy, and the sequin mix is from Darice.
