The Paper Variety-SRM Stickers And A Giveaway!

14 Sep

This week’s Paper Variety challenge is to use stickers!

Our sponsor is SRM stickers, and they VERY generously supplied all of us on the DT with a TON of stickers!  They are so amazing-can’t say enough good things about them!  THANK YOU SRM!!!!  🙂

Anyway, I just haven’t been able to stop making projects with these stickers!  They are super easy to use, and are so versatile too!

Here are the projects I have created so far:

Boo card

Supplies: Paper: Echo Park, Chipboard: Basic Grey; Stickers: SRM

For this card, I used six different stickers, and even managed to use a border sticker for the spider’s string-so fun!

Supplies: Chipboard: Pink Paislee; Stickers: SRM

I found a couple of patterned chipboard pieces in my stash that were the perfect size for these designs.  I added the stickers, then cut an old magnet I had into two parts and used some Helmar 450 to attach the magnet pieces to the back of the chipboard, and there you go-two easy magnets!

Reading Journal

Supplies: Chipboard: Pink Paislee; Sticker: SRM; Other: Journal

The Girlio has a reading journal where we track all the books we have read together for the year (we are over 400 so far!)  I thought I would just add this little name plate to the front of her journal (using more Helmar 450.)  It didn’t really need anything further as the journal is already so bright and has lots of glitter, but I like the added touch this embellishment gives.  You could just as easily add this piece to a layout too.

Me at 35 layout

Supplies: Paper: Fancy Pants, Echo Park; Letters and Tag: American Crafts; Ribbon: Crate Paper; Butterfly: Studio Calico; Stickers: SRM

Here I used some of the border stickers on the Halloween sticker sheets.  I pieced them together and added them at the top of the floral patterned paper, to the right of the letter stickers, and under the two smaller photos.  The stickers add just the right extra touch without adding bulk to my page-love it!

The journaling at the bottom is hard to read, so here it is:

Happy Birthday to me! Can’t believe it’s number 35-puts me in a whole new age bracket even-no more 29-34 for me!  Does this mean I have to grow up?  NO!  🙂  For my birthday, I had a Cin. Dolce latte from Starbucks, and then for lunch I chose Chipotle-it was delicious!  Absolutely LOVE Alex’s expression in this picture, and no, that is not his burrito!  🙂  (It’s Alan’s.)  Had homemade vanilla cupcakes w/ coconut (toasted by me!) instead of a cake.  Got some great presents (new Epson ink cartridges, NE t-shirt, scrappy money, and LOAD class) and some great food.  Happy Birthday to me!

Paul and Alex layout

Supplies: Paper and Diecuts: Fancy Pants; Letters: Basic Grey and Studio Calico; Stickers: SRM

I purposely kept this page very simple as I really wanted the picture of my brother with my son to be the focus.  I pieced together zig zag border stickers from the Halloween sticker sheets, and added them on top of my diecuts (the border and the hearts)-the stickers add the perfect finishing touch!  I also love that I was able to use three different lines from Fancy Pants on this project-some of their lines go together so well.

I will probably make some more SRM projects yet, but hopefully these will wet your whistle for this week’s challenge.

Make your project with any kind of sticker, and upload to the blog.  A winner will be randomly drawn to receive a prize pack from SRM!

Can’t wait to see what you create!  🙂

And finally, I have another giveaway for you!

Included are: Three packages of American Crafts Remarks dimensional stickers, three sheets of SRM stickers, Pebbles brads, and some trim.  To enter this giveaway, please subscribe to my blog (or tell me if you already have), and answer this question: how many pictures do you normally scrap on a single page?  I will draw a winner next Tuesday!
