Homemade Layout

16 May

Today I am going to share another of the layouts I made for National Scrapbooking Day.  This layout incorporates a few challenges-to use stitching (I stitched a pocket at the bottom that contains a recipe card), and to use a border punch in a unique way.  It turned out very unique-I like it, but it is definitely different from my normal layout!  I’ve also noticed that my latest projects have all been square-a big change from always doing shaped layouts.  I kind of miss the shapes, but it is good to do something different too.

Supplies: Patterned Paper: The Girls’ Paperie; Letter Stickers: American Crafts and October Afternoon; Border Punch: EK Success
Everything was from a Studio Calico kit except for the American Crafts yellow Thickers.  I think you might be seeing a pattern from my NSD projects.  I absolutely LOVE The Girls’ Paperie papers-just can’t get enough of them!!!
