Paper Variety Tic Tac Toe Challenge

30 Mar

The Paper Variety challenge was to pick 3 things from a tic tac toe board to create your project.  I chose: 2+ flowers, a baby theme, and creating a layout.  Here it is:

Supplies: Paper: Little Yellow Bicycle, Crate Paper, Jenni Bowlin; Letter Stickers: American Crafts; Metal Charms: Making Memories; Butterfly Punches: Martha Stewart (just wasn’t done using them with this paper after my last card!); Edge Distresser: Heidi Swapp

LOVE this LYB paper.  It feels like fabric, and looks so cool distressed and layered!  The flowers were made by freehand cutting circles, distressing the edges, folding up the edges, and adding them all together to make one bigger flower (I decided this counts for my 2+ flowers.)  I also like that I played around with some different color combos here.  Makes for a unique effect, I think.

I love this picture of my mom with The Weebo, and as I had already scrapped it for her, I decided to do a whole new take on one to keep for me!  Enjoy!

Really, really like this layout! Hope you’re planning on displaying it in a frame, so the 3-D elements don’t get smushed!
